books/references

for the teacher training, you will be required to submit four book reports,
limited to 1-2 pages each. you’ll need to simplify and and concentrate what you wish to say. each book report should answer the questions:

  • how will the teachings presented in this text inform your personal practice of yoga?
  • how will it affect you as a teacher?
  • how do you plan to integrate these teachings into your classroom?

the four reports should cover the following yogic principles/texts:

  • the yoga sutras of patanjali
  • the eight limbs of yoga
  • the yamas and the niyamas
